GUJCET 2017- Exam Dates, Application Form


GUJCET 2017 (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is conducted every year by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board in order to grant aspiring applicants admission in diverse medical institutions and universities which provide courses like MS/ MD/ MDS in private and government colleges and institutions as well. GUJCET 2017 is a state level examination.

GUJCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria


To be eligible for this course, applicants need to fulfill the following conditions:

  • Applicants need to pass the 10+2 (HSC) examination.
  • The applicants are required to pass the subjects physics, chemistry, and biology with at least 50%, (40% for ST, SC and OBC category).

The syllabus for GUJCET 2017 examination includes:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology

GUJCET 2017 Paper Pattern


120 multiple choice questions will be asked in the paper.
  • 40 questions in Physics
  • 40 questions in Chemistry
  • 40 questions in Biology

  1. The time duration for this examination is 180 minutes.
  2. Each correct answer will consist of one mark.
  3. Negative marking is applicable for this examination. So applicants are advised to attempt only those questions which they know. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

To apply for GUJCET 2017 entrance exam, applicants are supposed to download the form from the official website after filling it carefully.
  • Applicants are needed to deposit the fee along with the form.
  • After filling the form, the applicant can send the hard copy to this address- Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Sector 10-B, Near Old sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.
  • Applicants must note that the filled form must reach the necessary authorities on or before the due date or else the form will not be accepted on any condition.
