AIPMT 2017 - Exam Dates, Syllabus, Pattern

All India Pre Medical Entrance Test is also commonly known as AIPMT 2017. The AIPMT is a national level UG medical entrance exam which is officially conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. AIPMT is conducted for the students who want to take admission into MBBS and BDS in various medical colleges across the country. 15% of total seats in medical and dental colleges in India, except in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir are reserved for the students who pass AIPMT Entrance Exam. Approx. 2200 MBBS and 200 BDS seats are made available through this exam. According to the official notification from CBSE Board AIPMT 2015 Entrance Exam shall schedule in May 2017.

AIPMT 2017 Eligibility Criteria


AIPMT 2017 Eligibility Criteria are as follows:-

    • The candidate should have scored minimum 50% of marks in following subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English. Or their equivalency determined as per regulations of Medical Council of India and the concerned university.

      • Advertisements
    • The candidate must have completed 17 years and should not exceed 25 years as on December 31 of the year of admission. The age limit for SC, ST and OBC shall be relaxed to 5years.
    • Candidates, who have appeared for the intermediate examination and are awaiting for their results are eligible to apply for this entrance exam. 
    • Students from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to apply.

  • Candidates can apply online by visiting: http://aipmt.nic.in/aipmt/online/ApplicationForm.aspx. Candidates are required to note down the registration number generated by the system.

AIPVT 2017 - Exam Dates, Application Form

All India Pre-Veterinary Test is commonly known as AIPVT. The AIPVT 2017 Test is conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). VCI invites application for AIPVT for filling 15% of total seats in veterinary colleges in India (except J&K) from Indian Nationals. The exam is conducted for the students seeking admission into 1st year Bachelor in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc) & Animal Husbandry (A.H.) Course for the academic year 2016-2017. Duration of the course is 5 year, candidate need to do compulsory rotating internship for six months. Students from J&K are not eligible for examination. The All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2017 will be held in  May 2017.


AIPVT 2017 Eligibility Criteria


  • Candidates should be Indian Nationals except the state of Jammu & Kashmir
  • He/She has passed the Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2

AU AIMEE 2017 examination is conducted by the Annamalai University for the students who want to take admission into MBBS, BDS, B.Sc., Nursing, B.Pharm and BPT courses.   • The Application Form can be obtained through Post by sending the letter for Application and a Demand Draft along with a self addressed envelope stamped with stamps worth Rs. 25

    BHU PMT 2017 - Exam Dates, Application Form

    BHU PMT 2017 is also known as Banaras Hindu University Pre Medical Test. BHU PMT 2017 is an All India Level Entrance Test conducted for the students who wants to take admission in the MBBS and other courses available under Institute of Medical Studies (IMS). The BHU PMT exam is conducted by the Banaras Hindu University. The test consists of two papers prelims and mains. Candidates are selected for MBBS and other courses on the basis of Preliminary and Main Exams. The BHU PMT entrance exam is mostly conducted in the months of May – June.


    BHU PMT 2017 Eligibility Criteria


    • Passed intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together.
    • For MBBS/BDS/BAMS:A minimum of 50% marks for general and 45% for general-PC candidates and 40% marks for OBC/SC/ST and respective PC candidates.
    • For B.Pharm: A minimum of 60% marks for general / OBC and respective PC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates.
    • Minimum age limit of the candidates in order to attend BHU PMT is 17 years.
    • Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply.

    • CMC Vellore PG entrance exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).

    MGIMS PMT 2017 is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Science Pre-Medical Test. MGIMS PMT 2017 exam is conducted for the students who want to take admission into MBBS course offered by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (MGIMS). Candidates are selected for the MBBS course on the basis of the result obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. This Medical Entrance Exam may be held in the month of April.     MMU CET 2017 is commonly known as Maharishi Markandeshwar University. MMU CET is a university level exam conducted by the MMU for the students who wants to take admission into under graduate medical courses – MBBS, BDS. MMU CET exam is not only for Haryana candidates but also for those who are residing outside of Haryana. Foreign national / NRI are also eligible to apply for MMU CET. Admission to the MBBS and BDS courses is solely done on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the MMU CET Examination. The MMU CET 2017 Examination shall be held in June 2017. The venue selected for Entrance test are: Ambala, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jalandhar, Dehradun, Indore, Jaipur and Lucknow.


    MMU CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria


    • He/ She will attain the age of 17 years or more on 31.12.2016.
    • SSC Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination as equivalent thereto with five subjects from any recognized Board/University with atleast 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together (45% for candidates with Locomotive Disability of lower limbs).
    • The candidate must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Medical Board constituted/approved by the Principal, M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Mullana. The candidature of a candidate found medically unfit is liable to be cancelled.

    MP DMAT 2017 is commonly known as Madhya Pradesh Dental or Medical Admission Test. MP DMAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges (APDMC), Madhya Pradesh. The MP DMAT entrance exam is conducted for the student who wants to take admission into undergraduate level programs in Medical and Dental courses. Candidates are admitted in private medical and dental colleges of Madhya Pradesh through DMAT. 50% of the seats in private medical and dental colleges of MP are admitted through DMAT. The seats available in MBBS course are 214 and in BDS course is 439. The MP DMAT exam is expected to be held in the month of June 2017

    • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
