AIPMT 2014 Exam Dates | Syllabus | Pattern | News

AIPMT which is popularly known as All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT 2014) is a national based medical exam lead by CBSE Board as a criterion for students who want to take up career as medical professionals. AIPMT exam has characterized into two major groupings i.e. Pre- dental and Pre- medical are those two groupings that they have characterized the medical field. These two major fields are dividing from each other. The first one is dealt with the dental issues and dental associated things and for the second one it deals with the body kind of circumstances. And also both the categories deal with the human body kind of things.

AIPMT 2014 Paper Pattern

AIPMT Preliminary Examination Patter would comprise of one paper containing 200 objective type queries (4 options with single right answer) from Chemistry, Physics and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the especially designed machine-gradable page using Ball Pen tip only. The duration of AIPMT paper would be 3 hours.

Final Examination is conducted for them who are qualifying in the Preliminary Examination. The Final Examination would comprise of one paper containing 120 objective type questions (4 options with single right answer) from Chemistry, Physics and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be replied on the particularly designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Pen tip only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.

AIPMT 2014 Eligibility

By this method the candidates are admitted on merit based for dental and medical courses.
The applicants must of minimum of 17 years of age and not more than 25 years of age in order to be eligible for this exam.
The applicants must also be citizen of India and he/she must have completed their higher secondary.
The applicants who are about to complete i.e. who are to come for their results can also apply for this exam.
The applicants must have minimum 50% of marks in subjects of first stream I.e., physics, biology, mathematics, English in their higher secondary, 40% of marks in case of Schedule caste / Scheduled tribe applicants.
