About CAT 2013 Exam
The Common Admission Test which is also popularly known as CAT Exam is an all India test directed by the Indian Institutes of Management as an entrance exam for the management programmes of its 11 b-schools and Top MBA Schools.
This time Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore has declared the exam dates for CAT 2013, which will be led in month of October-November 2013. The exam will be held on Wednesday, 16th October 2013 to Monday, November 11th 2013.
CAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria
The applicant is necessity hold a bachelor’s degree, with a minimum 50% marks or correspondent CGPA given by any of the renowned universities or possesses a comparable qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
Applicants seeming for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have finished degree requirements and are awaiting Results can also apply.

CAT 2013 Syllabus
It is true that IIM's does not gives any predefined syllabus for any type of preparation for CAT Exam. Generally it includes Verbal Ability (i.e. English), Quantitative Ability (i.e. Mathematics), Logical Reasoning (i.e. LR) and Data Interpretation (i.e. DI) skills.

CAT 2013 Paper Pattern
The test involves two sections that are individually timed.
Each of the sections will be 70 minutes (i.e. 1 hour and 10 minutes).
There will be 30 questions in each section.
The sections are (a) Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (b) Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.
Once a section ends, contenders can no longer go back to it.
Contenders will be accessible with the section on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation first, followed by Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

Start date for sale of registration forms: July 29th 2013.
Last date for sale of registration forms: September 24th 2013.
Dates of entrance exam: October 16th 2013 to November 11th 2013.
