BITSAT 2015 Exam Dates | Application Form
BITSAT 2015 is commonly known as BITS Admission Test. Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) conduct this computer based online test for the students seeking admission into the Integrated First Degree programmes. Candidates will be admitted to the Integrated First Degree programme on the basis of merit position prepared on the basis of their scores obtained in the BITSAT Exam. The BITSAT 2015 online test will be held from 14th to 29th May 2015.
BITSAT 2015 Eligibility Criteria
If the scores of two candidates are same then:
i) Their scores in Mathematics/Biology (For B.Pharm) in BITSAT will be considered for separating them.
ii) If tie still exists, then their scores in Physics in BITSAT will be considered for separating them.
iii) Scores in Chemistry can be used for settling the tie.
iv) Finally, their PCM/PCB (For B.Pharm) total marks in 12th examination will be considered for their separation.
The BITSAT-2014 test will be conducted on the basis of NCERT syllabus for 11th and 12th class. The detailed syllabus is given in the Annexure. Candidates may refer to the NCERT textbooks for the contents. A sample test demonstrating the features of BITSAT will be made available to the registered candidates at the BITS website on which he/ she can practice as many times as desired.

BITSAT 2015 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have cleared Class XII (or its equivalent examination) from a state or central recognized education board with Physics, Math and Chemistry.
- Minimum aggregate of marks in Class XII in PCM stream is 75% and 60% each in Physics, Math and Chemistry.
- Candidates with qualifying examination passing year as 2012 or earlier are ineligible.
- Candidates presently studying in any of the three campus are ineligible for BITSAT 2014.
- Admissions would be based on merit score obtained in BITSAT 2014 and Class XII.
- Direct admission would be given to all the toppers of their respective boards regardless of the eligibility criteria.

- BITSAT-2014 will be of total 3-hour duration (without break)
- All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions), each question with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice.
- Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark.
- No marks are awarded for questions not attempted
BITSAT 2015 Application Form
- Candidates can apply online at http://www.bitsadmission.com
- The prescribed fee for BITSAT 2014 is Rs. 1900/-(Rs.1400/- for female candidates).
- In addition to applying and appearing for BITSAT-2014, candidates have to also apply for admission to BITS giving details of their 12th marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered. The prescribed application form for admission, the detailed application procedure and the final list of Degree programmes offered will be available at the BITS website, by 20th May 2014. The completed form with the required application fee has to be submitted so as to reach the under-mentioned on or before 5.00 PM on 30th June 2014.
