IAS 2015 Exam Dates | Eligibility | Syllabus

The IAS 2015 exam is popularly known as Indian Administrative Service Exam which is official conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). We are here to provide you the necessary details on IAS 2015 exam such as its notification dates, exam dates, eligibility criteria, syllabus and exam pattern. IAS exam is considered to be one of the highest designations offered by the Indian Government. It is one of the toughest exams that needs a precious focus and determination to achieve success. This government exam is a paper-pen based test i.e. CSE (Civil Service Examination) held every year. IAS 2015 is divided into two stage i.e. Civil Service  (Preliminary) Exam and Civil Service (Main) Exam. According to UPSC Timetable 2015, Civil Service  (Preliminary) Exam 2015 will be held on 23rd August, 2015 and Civil Service  (Main) Exam will be held on 18th December, 2015.


Candidates who are interested to apply for IAS Exam should fulfill eligibility criteria for IAS 2015 prescribed by UPSC all in respect. Following is the IAS 2015 Eligibility Criteria:-

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Age of the candidate must falls below 21 to 30 years.
• The candidate must hold any graduate degree from a renowned college or university in India.

• The candidate appearing for the final year of graduation from a renowned college or university in India are eligible to appear for IAS 2015
• The candidates with professional and technical qualifications recognized by the Government of India as equivalent to professional and technical degrees are eligible to apply.
• If the Candidate has passed a final year of MBBS exam but are yet to complete internship can apply for the CSE prelim exam 2015.  
• The candidate should be physically and medically fit.
