COMEDK UGET 2016 Exam Dates | Application Form
Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts COMEDK UGET 2016 entrance exam for the admission in various undergraduate engineering, medical and dental courses in Karnataka. Applicants those who are interested shall fill the application form from the month of March, 2016. A total of 20,000 seats are available for the admission in various institutes. This exam is conducted in around 134 centers in the state of Karnataka. Admission to 150 engineering, 14 medical and 25 dental collages in Karnataka is done through COMEDK. COMEDK UGET 2016 exam can be appeared by any students in state of Karnataka as well as outside Karnataka.

Following are the steps to apply for COMEDK UGET 2016 entrance exam:-
Step 1: Go to www. comedk.org
Step 2: Applicants are required to fill their Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Email-ID and register it and the applicant shall receive a login ID and password.
Step 3: Applicant need to login it and fill their personal, qualification and other details as mentioned in the form.
Step 4: Applicants need to upload their recent passport size photograph and signature as mentioned in the form and submit it.
Step 5: Applicant can pay their application fees by online or through DD and send it to the following address on or before 15th April, 2015:

Application Fees:
Applicants need to pay their application fees to make the transaction successful. You need to pay Rs 1200/- for writing PCM/PCB and Rs 1500/- for PCMB. You can make payment both in online as well as offline mode. For online applicants can through Debit/Credit Card and for offline through DD in favor of “COMEDK” payable at Bangalore.
The test will be of 180 multiple choice questions of 60 each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology. The time for the COMEDK UGET 2016 exam shall be about 3 hours. The exam shall be in written form and applicants have to mark their answers in their OMR sheet as provided during the examination. Applicants shall get 1 mark for each right answer and there is no negative marking in the examination. If there is a tie in the score, the board will consider the number of wrong and unattended answers to come to the final conclusion.

COMEDK UGET 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are eligible for the examination only if they satisfy following condition:
For Architecture and Engineering:
- Applicants should have passed Higher Secondary Education or 2nd PUC or its equivalent to appear for the examination.
- Applicant must be at least 17 years of age as on 31st December 2015 to appear for the examination.
- Applicants must have got an aggregate of minimum of 45% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) to appear for the examination.
- Applicants must have Mathematics, Physics and English as their compulsory subjects along with any one of following subjects as optional-Biology or Biotechnology, Chemistry or any other vocational courses.
- Applicants of Architecture must have scored at least 50% marks in 10+2 (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates). Applicants must have appeared and scored at least out 80 of 200 to appear for the examination.
- Applicants of Diploma are not eligible in engineering course to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

- General applicants must have scored; both in aggregate of at least 50% in PCB and in English and for SC/ ST / OBC applicants must have scored at least 40 %.
