VITEEE 2016 (VIT Engineering Entrance Exam) is an entrance test which is conducted every year by the VIT University in order to grant aspiring applicants admission in diverse courses in its university. It is a national level examination. Applicants from all over the country apply for this course.

The following conditions need to be fulfilled by the applicants in order to be eligible for this course:

• Applicants should have completed 10+2 from a recognized Board or Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board or High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma or Advanced (A) level General Certificate Education (GCE) examination.
• Applicants have scored at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology (50% for SC/ST and applicants from Northeast and Jammu Kashmir)
• Applicants should be born on or after 1 July 1993 in order to be eligible.

• In order to apply for this course, applicants can both, go online and fill the form on the official website or purchase the same from the official centers.
• Applicants need to do the following to fill the form properly:
• Mention personal details such as full name, contact number, address etc.


Advertisements
• A valid email id has to be provided to get notifications or updates of any sort.
• A certain amount of fees is to be paid at the time of submission of the form. In case of online mode, net banking/ credit card/ or debit card can be used. In offline mode, fees can be paid via demand draft only.
• Scanned photograph and signature has to be provided.
• Applicants must note that the form filled has to reach the necessary authorities on or before the due date, or else the form shall not be accepted at all.

The syllabus for this examination includes:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Biology

• A total of 160 questions will be asked in the paper.
• The paper will be divided into four sections with 40 questions each.
• Each correct answer will consist of 1 mark.
• The time duration for this examination is 2.5 hours.
• Negative marking is not applicable for this examination. So applicants may attempt as many questions as they want.
