Vignans Scholarship Aptitude Test commonly known as VSAT 2016 is an all India level entrance examination conducted for the admission of students in undergraduate and post graduate courses. The application form shall be available from November 2015. At present about 7000 students are studying into the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Step No. 1 - Go to www.vignanuniversity.org an download the application form.
Step No. 2 - Applicants can also get the form at selected branches of Axis Bank, Post offices and at all Vignan office of AP.
Step No. 3 - The Exam taker must fill the information of personal, qualification and other details as per the requirement in the form.
Step No. 4 - After completion of form applicants need to attach their recent passport size photograph and sign in the space provided in the form.
Step No. 5 - Applicants need to post their respective form along with DD at the following address: Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research University Vadlamudi, Guntur – 522213, Andhra Pradesh (AP).
Application fees:
Applicants are required to pay Rs 1000/- by DD of Rs.1000/- drawn in favor of Vignan University payable at Guntu, of filled application form and send it to the Dean – Admissions, Vignan University, Vadlamudi, Guntur (dist).

VSAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria
- The Exam taker must have passed Higher Secondary examination (10+2) with at least 60% of aggregate scored from a recognized University/Institute.
- Applicants should not exceed more than 17 years of age to apply for the examination.
- Applicant must have studied Chemistry and Mathematics and Physics in their Higher Secondary Education.
- Applicants who have studied biology in the Higher Secondary Education or Equivalent exam can apply for B.Tech Biotechnology.
- Applicants belonging to SC/ST must score an aggregate of 55% to apply for the examination.

VSAT 2016 Paper Pattern
- The question paper consists of 120 questions of multiple choice and objective type.
- Applicants will get 1 mark for each right answer.
- Negative marking will not be applicable for this examination.
- Duration for this examination will be of 3 hours and applicants will not be giving any breaks in between.
