WBPSC Recruitment 2015:- West Bengal public Service Commission has announced a recruitment notification to recruit Assistant professors. West Bengal Public Service commission is a government body works under Government of west Bengal. WBSC is responsible for conducting civil services examinations, engineering services examinations, Defense Service Examinations and other various kinds of examinations to recruit candidates. 411 assistant professors are needed by WBPSC. Online mode: Applicant can pay application fee through online mode by using their debit/credit card or net banking system.
Offline mode: Applicant can pay application fee through offline mode by first downloading an E-Challan and then pay it to any branch of UBI bank.
An applicant shall be selected as per criteria of WBPSC and on its own individual performance.

WBPSC Recruitment 2015 Eligibility criteria
An eligible contender must fulfill all the details given below:
- He/ She should have passed graduation with at least 55% marks.
- He/ She must be qualified in National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET).
- SC/ ST/ PWD category applicants will get 5% relaxation over other applicant.
- Any candidates who are applying for these posts should not have age more than 37 years as on 01-01-2015.Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates is applicable. (as per government norms)
