Birla High School Kolkata was founded by Lakshmi Niwas Birla in the year 1941 for boys. The school is organized in two sections in separate buildings, the Junior Division and the Senior Division. This school certified to CBSE board based on the NCERT syllabus from classes LKG to Grade 6.  Apart from theoretical topics, the school offers computer studies, smart class, the science lab, math lab, a large library, Infirmary for their student. In addition to activities, it also offers a wide range of co-curriculum in cricket, soccer, basketball, football, music, drama, debate and gymnasium.
