Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2016 - Application Form
Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2016 is conducted by Banasthali University. It is a University exclusively for women. The Aptitude Test is a Common Entrance Test for B.Tech and B.Arch. however in this article, focus will be mainly placed on B.Tech. All the courses of B.Tech. will be covered under the umbrella examination of Banasthali University Aptitude Test. Every B.Tech. applicant has to fill the unique B.Tech. Application Form for multiple B.Tech. programs. The branch preferences are to be mentioned in the Application Form. However for any course other than B.Tech, a separate form is available.
The branch allocation will be decided at the end, during the counselling. The counselling will be purely based on merit. Credits are awarded to certain applicants. In Games, those who represented Banasthali University in the State or Country will get 2 and 5 % respectively. Those who have passed their 10+2s from Banasthali, ex-students of Banastahli who have studied full-time courses, the applicants whose mother or sister has been or is a student in Banasthali, and those whose guardians has been or is working in Banasthali, will get 5@ credit.

Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2016 Application Form
- There are 3 methods of obtaining the Application Form. One may send a Demand Draft ofINR 800/- in favour of "BanasthaliVidyapith" payable at Banasthali /Jaipur to: Secretary - BanasthaliVidyapith, P.O. BANASTHALI VIDYAPITH- 304022 (Rajasthan). Or, she can obtain the Prospectus and the Form in person upon payment of INR 800/- in cash from:

Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2016 Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants must have compulsorily passed their 12th grades from any recognized Board / University. For B.Tech. (CSE/EC/EI/EE/IT/CE/BT), a minimum of 60% aggregate in the 10+2 Examination is necessary with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). However, the minimum eligibility for appearing in theBanasthali University Aptitude Test for students passing their12th grades from Banasthali University will be 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- For SC/ ST applicants the minimum eligibility is 40% aggregate in the 10+2 Examination with the same subjects as above.
- For Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI sponsored applicants the minimum eligibility is 40% aggregate in the 10+2 Examination and their admissions will be based directly on merit.
Banasthali University Aptitude Test 2016 Exam Pattern
- There will be 1 paper with the subjects Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning. However, there will be 3 sections. Section A will be regarding Physics and Chemistry with 40 questions lasting for 60 minutes. Section B will be regarding Mathematics with 40 questions lasting for 60 minutes. Section C will be Logical Reasoning with 20 questions lasting for 30 minutes. Each correct question will fetch one mark, whereas a wrong question carries (-1/4) marks.
- Admission into B.Tech.is based on a combined merit of 50% marks in all India aptitude test (comprising of Objective Type tests in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (for B.Tech.), Logical Reasoning) and 50% of normalized aggregate percentage in 10+2.
