VMAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Those candidates who wish to give the test must pass in a Intermediate or its equivalent (MPC/BiPC /MEC/CEC ) scoring a minimum of 60% aggregate marks to be eligible to appear for the VMAT test. Those candidates who are appearing or have appeared for qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also considered eligible to apply.

VMAT 2016 Application Form

There are two modes of registration for application forms and interested candidates can make avail of either as per their preference.

1. Direct:

Interested candidates can make avail of applications via post from the University Office on the payment of 200/- INR by a DD drawn in the favour of Vignan University payable at Guntur or in person via any of VignanSchols or Offices at Guntur (Ph.0863-2231326), Hyderabad (Ph. 9866399664),  Visakhapatnam  (Ph.  9052544736), Vijayawada (Ph. 0866-6593777), Vignan University (ph: 0863-2118487/88).

2. Download:

Candidates can download the form via the university website:www.vignanuniversity.org and send the complete application form duly filled along with a DD for rs 200/- drawn in favour of Vignan University payable at Guntur and should be sent to the following address.

Do ensure that the candidates write their name and address on the back of the DD.

VMAT 2016 Paper Pattern

The language of the paper will be English and will be segregated into 3 sect ions namely English, Reasoning and Aptitude. The exam will be of objective type and will consist of 100 multiple choice questions with 4 options and each correct answer carries a mark and there is no negative marking. The exam will last for 2 hours. The breakup is enumerated below:

VMAT 2016 Admission Procedure

The admission will be based on the candidate’s performance in the VMAT examination and the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored on VMAT and qualifying exams. Those candidates who have been shortlisted will be called in for counseling and GD/PI.
