IPU CET MBBS 2017 - Exam Dates | Application Form

IPU CET MBBS 2017 is an all India Level examination conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi for the admission to various undergraduate medical courses in India. Those applicants who are interested can fill the application form till 7th April, 2015. The university is affiliated with University Grant Commission and has been graded ‘A’ by NAAC. About 84 colleges located at the different places in the Delhi-NCR are united with this university. GGSIPU offers a total of 264 seats for MBBS programmes in around 3 affiliated colleges, out of which 57 seats are for General category, 43 for OBC, 41 reserved for SC and another 15 for ST. While, 82 of the total seats are reserved for Army wards and only 1 seat is available for PWD category applicants.

Following we have provided key points of IPU CET MBBS 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be of minimum 17 years as on 31st December, 2016 to appear for the examination.
• Applicants must have done at least Higher Secondary Certificate or CBSC or its equivalent examination to appear for the examination.

• Applicants must have scored at least 50% aggregate in English and PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) for general category and also must have passed in all mentioned subjects individually (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC applicants)
• Applicants those who have studied from a recognized institute within NCT (National Capital Territory) of Delhi can also claim for the admission under MBBS/ BDS programme.
• On 20th February, 2015 the detail criteria for admission of children of eligible serving Army personnel, Ex Army personnel and war widows/widows of the Army will be notified for the admission of aspirants in Army College of Medical Science, Delhi.

Following are the steps to apply for IPU CET MBBS 2017 Application Form

Step 1: Go to www.ipu.ac.in

Step 2: For registration applicants are required to fill their basic details like Name, Mobile Number and Email ID after which applicants shall receive their login ID and password in Email and Mobile as per the information in the form.

Step 3: After registration applicants need to login it fill the necessary details like personal, qualification and other details as mentioned in the form.

Step 4: After completion of form filling applicants need to upload their recent passport size photograph and signature of JPEG/.JPG or GIF format only and less than 80kb as mentioned in the form and submit it.

Step 5: Applicants need to make payment of application form online through Debit/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking only.

Application fees:

To complete the application process successfully applicants have to pay their application fees for IPU CET MBBS is Rs 750/- and it can be online only through Debit/Credit Card. 

• The Exam will comprise of both stages of paper with 300 multiple choice questions of 900 marks.
• The period for the examination will be 3 hours.
• The Medium of test will be in English only.
• Question will be asked from 11th and 12th syllabus based on PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects.

• Applicant one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer and will receive 3 marks for each correct answer.
