GPAT 2017 - Exam Dates, Application Form, Syllabus
GPAT 2017 is popularly known as Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test. GPAT is an all India Examination conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. GPAT is conducted for the students seeking admission in all post-graduate pharmacy programmes. AICTE has started conducting the computer based online national level GPAT test since last year for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all post-graduate pharmacy programmes approved by AICTE. The GPAT exam is usually held in the month February-March.

- Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates) and those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course ONLY are eligible for appearing in GPAT 2017 Examination.
- [B. Pharmacy 1st year to 3rd year students are NOT ELIGIBLE to appear in GPAT 2017 Examination. Any inquiry in this regard will not be entertained]

- GPAT 2017 will be a computer based test
- The qualifying marks for General and OBC category students are 125 marks and qualifying marks for SC, ST and PD are 100 marks
- Correct answers are worth 4 marks each and negative marking of -1 mark for each incorrect answer is applicable

- Fill online form from November, 2016 to January, 2017 on website www.aicte-gpat.in
- Choice of 3 cities for online examination in the order of preference.
