Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2017) is basically an entrance examination which is conducted every year by the XLRI Jamshedpur in order to grant admission to aspiring applicants in its university. XAT 2017 is a national level management entrance examination. Applicants from all over the country apply for this course. This examination is a stepping stone to success for aspiring applicants.

XAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The following conditions need to be fulfilled by the applicants in order to be eligible for this examination:
- The applicant should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Applicants who have appeared for the final board examination and can submit their final marks by June 10, 2015, can also appear for this examination.
- The eligibility criteria will be same for all categories of applicants.
XAT 2017 Syllabus & Paper Pattern
The syllabus for this course includes:
- Quantitative Ability
- English Language & Logical Reasoning
- Decision Making
XAT 2017 Paper Pattern
Following is the paper pattern for XAT 2017:-
This examination will be conducted in written format.
- Paper 1 will be the objective, multiple choice question type, containing 3 sections – Quantitative Ability, English Language & Logical Reasoning and Decision Making with duration of 2 hours 20 minutes.
- Paper 2 will comprise General Awareness and Essay Writing sections. The duration of this section will be 40 minutes.

- In order to apply for this course, applicants need to following the below instructions carefully:
- Applicants need to go online and fill the form on the official website.
- Applicants need to fill in personal details such as their full name, address, date of birth, last educational institute attended, etc.
- Applicants need to pay a certain amount as application fee in the form of net banking, credit card, debit card, or demand draft.
- Applicants must note that the filled form has to reach the necessary authorities on or before the due date, or else the form shall not be accepted at all.
