Educational Qualification for CDS 2015

• Candidate from Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officer's Training Academy (OTA) should have degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
• Candidate from Naval Academy should have B.Sc. degree with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized University.


Advertisements
• Candidate from Air Force Academy should have B.Sc. with Physics and/ or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized University.
• Candidates appearing at the degree or equivalent examination also eligible to compete. Such candidates will be required to submit the proof of passing the requisite qualifying examination by a date to be specified in the Commission’s Notice for the Examination.

This exam is popularly known as Special Class Railway Apprentice which is officially conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). According to the official notification SCRA 2015 exam will be held on 18th January, 2015. The candidates who are interested to appear for this exam please note that the last date of online application is 7th November, 2015.


Following we have provided SCRA 2015 eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualifications

Candidate must have passed an intermediate or an equivalent exam with 1st or 2nd division.

Candidate must have passed in pre-degree examination of a recognized university or board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects of the examination.

Nationality

Candidate must be fulfill atleast one of the following nationality criteria:

• An Indian citizen.
• A subject of Nepal.
• A subject of Bhutan.
• A Tibetan refugee who came over India 1st January, 1962 (for permanent resisdence).

Age Criteria

• Age Limitation of the Candidate appearing for SCRA 2015 should not be below 17 years and must not above 21 years as on 01st January 2015.
• The candidate must not have born earlier than 2nd January, 1994  and not later than 1st January, 1998.

Age Relaxation:

• For SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• For OBC candidates: 3 years
• Age relaxable for 3 years in case of defence services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or disturbed area.
• 5 years Age relaxable for Ex-service men including commissioned officers and ECOs/SSCOs
• Age relaxation in the case of ECOs /SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of 5 years of military service: 5 years
• Age relaxation for blind, deaf, deaf, mute and orthopaedically handicapped candidates: 10 years
• Age relaxation if a candidate had ordinaly been domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from the 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989: 5 years.

The notification for Civil Services Main Exam 2015 has been announced by the official board of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Civil Services Main Exam is the second stage after Civil Services Preliminary Exam of IAS Exam 2015. • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Age of the candidate must falls below 21 to 30 years.
• The candidate must hold any graduate degree from a renowned college or university in India.
