Curriculum of Calcutta Girls High School
- The School is affiliated to ICSE - Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination (Class X) and the Indian School Certificate Examination (Class XII).
- Class X students appear for the ICSE Examinations is March. The Compulsary subjects for the examinations are English (1st Langauge), Bengali or Hindi (2nd Langauge),Environmental Education, History, Geography, Mathematics, Science or Commercial Studies or Environmental Science. The optional subjects we offer are Home Science / Commercial Application / Computer Applications.
- According to the requirements of the Council, internal assessments are conducted for all subjects.
- In Class XI and XII,along with English, the following elective subjects are offered:(Compulsory)Second language (Hindi/Bengali),History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Home Science, Economics Structure of Commerce, Principles of Accounts, Elective English, Computer Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Class XII Students appears for the ISC Examinations in March.
