In this post we will provide details on TANCET 2017 such as its exam dates, registration process, application form, syllabus and paper pattern. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test commonly known as TANCET is an entrance exam conducted every year by Anna University on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government. The examination is for the students who wants to take admission into post graduation courses of M.E. / M. Tech / MBA / MCA / M. Arch / M. Plan Programs offered in university departments, regional centers of Anna university, arts & science colleges and self – financing & stand alone colleges. Some other Institutes, Universities & Self – Financing Colleges may also admit the students on the basis of TANCET. Candidates who are residing in Tamil Nadu are eligible for TANCET. Candidates who are not residing in Tamil Nadu can also apply, but the admission will be depending on the eligibility criteria imposed by the admitting authority.
Following are the eligibility criteria for TANCET 2017
1. For MCA:
The applicants should be having a Bachelors Degree of three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST). The applicants should have studied Mathematics as the main subject in their qualify degree for this purpose.
2. For MBA:
The applicants should be a Bachelor in any stream with a least of 50% marks for being eligible to the concerned course program of the university.
3. For M. Tech:
The applicants should be having a Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Technology in the concerned discipline for which application has been made. Following are the eligibility criteria for TANCET 2017
1. For MCA:

MAH CET 2017 MBA - Exam Dates, Application Form
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test popularly known as MAH CET 2017 is a state level MBA entrance exam. It is conducted to offer admissions in management courses such as MBA, MMS, PGDBA and PGDBM in various institutes of Maharashtra. MAH CET MBA 2017 will be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Those applicants who are interested shall fill the application form from 2nd week of February, 2017. Applicants of Maharashtra as well as outside Maharashtra can appear for this examination. The selection procedure will be on the basis of CET scores and GDPI round conducted by respective college. MAH CET MBA 2017 entrance exam shall be conducted on 2nd week of March, 2017.

TAPMI 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for this exam has to be a graduate (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline that is recognized by AIU with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. This also applies to all the candidates possessing professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary. Those candidates who are appearing for final year degree examination can also apply but if these candidates do get selected they have to produce proof of completion of graduation by the time they join the PGDM Programmes and will be required to submit the mark-lists and other testimonials within the stipulated date. The candidate also needs to ensure that they have valid CAT, XAT GMAT scores.

TAPMI 2017 Exam Pattern
The TAT paper usually consists of a total of 150 objective type questions under 4 different sections namely English/Verbal Ability, Quantitative Techniques, Logic and Data Interpretation and Understanding EU. The breakup of each section is 40 objective type questions from English/Verbal Ability, 40 objective type questions from Quantitative Techniques, 40 objective questions from logic and Data interpretation 30 objective type questions from understanding EU. The test duration is 150 mins.

Those candidates who are interested can apply online via the official website www.tapmi.edu.in/ and they can make the payment online via Credit/Debit card or via Net Banking. The candidates can avail the Handbook of information on payment of rs.1500/- (there is an early birder discount of rs 300/-) at the branches of Axis bank, IMS Learning Resources, Career Launcher, TIME, Career Forum, Erudite etc. and each handbook contains a coded payment voucher and when the candidate gats hold of the voucher then they can assess the online application.
TAPMI 2017 Application Form
- Interested candidates have to visit the official website to fill up the form. They are advised to read all instructions carefully and fill in all the mandatory fields and leave no blanks. After the filling and submission of the form the candidates can avail it for further amendments.
- The candidates have to appear for any of the entrance tests such as CAT, XAT, GMAT and submit the details along with the registration numbers on the application form
- While filling in the details the candidates must ensure that they indicate their CAT/ XAT/ GTMAT/ MAT registration numbers as given on their registration card and upload the passport sized photograph in jpg/pdf format and it should not exceed over 1MB in size.
- Those candidates who are using GMAT tests are required to submit their score cards along with the application form as a scanned copy in jpg/pdf format and should not exceed 500kb in size.

NRI candidates may pay rs 3100/- or USD 50 for single program, rs 4500/- or USD 75 for any 2 programs and rs 6000/- or USD 100 for all 3 programs.
- Do note that the candidate can only apply for a single program using the prospectus/voucher that’s purchases from coaching centers and for the application for over one program the candidates can make use of credit/debit cards and apply online.

IRMA 2017 - The Institute of Rural Management Anand conducts examinations for the admission of students into various Rural Management courses. The Master’s residential program resulting in a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) is accepted to be equivalent to a Master's degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is also sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Aspirants are appropriately placed in various organisations through IRMA’s Campus Placement scheme.
IRMA trains the aspirants through the two-year PGDRM course, so that they are able to embark uponinterestingchallenges in the development of organisations with the correct moral values. IRMA 2017 Application Form
- The number of seats available for PRM is near about 180. 5% is reserved for NRI aspirants. 15% is available on the supernumerary basis for overseas aspirants. IRMA follows the statutory reservation policy of Government of India.
- For the Indian aspirants, a common application form is available for PRM. Foronline application, one may use the payment gateway option. Or, one may use the payment option through SBI Challan at any SBI branch.
- For the Challan mode of payment, one must remove a printout ofthe State Bank of India (SBI) Challan available on https://www.irma.ac.in/ (under ‘Admission’). The payment can be made via cash at any branch of SBI by using the Challan. The bank will generate a unique ID number. This number must be used for online application for IRMA.
- The printed application material can also be obtained from the Admissions Office, IRMA, Anand - 388 001 after the payment, which must be made through a Demand Draft in favour of 'IRMA', payable at Anand.
- The normalised online Application Fee is INR 1200/-. SC / ST / PAD aspirants are required to pay INR 600/-. The normalised offline Application Fee is INR 1275/-. SC / ST / PAD aspirants are required to pay INR 675/-.

IRMA 2017 Exam Pattern
- The question paper will consist of 4 sections – Analytical Reasoning with 50 questions, English Comprehension with 40 questions, Quantitative Aptitude with 50 questions, Issues of Social Concern with 60 questions. The total duration of the examination is 2 hours.

TISSNET 2017 - Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai) was established in 1936, and is renowned to be the original school of social work in India. How to Apply - TISSNET 2017 Application Form
- The TISSNET 2017 Application procedure is an online one. The applicant must visit https://appln-admissions.tiss.edu/ for the application system. Thereby, s/he has to login with the registered email id and password.
- Applicants belonging to remote areas, which have no Internet and Telecommunication facilities, can avail the printed version of the Application Form from the Institute. S/he can send a request for the printed copy by Speed Post with the required Application Fees to Assistant Registrar(Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar Mumbai, 400088.
- The application fee is INR 1030/-. It can be paid via Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking. If the applicant is willing to pay INR 1000 + bank charges, s/he could also pay via cash. This amount has to be paid for every applied program. However, the unwaged SC and ST applicants, whose guardian’s annual income is less than INR 2.5 Lakh, and unemployed OBC(NC) applicants, whose guardian’s annual income is less than INR 1 lakh, need to pay only INR 250/-.

TISSNET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The TISS applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree of 3 years’ minimum duration. Any equivalent degree is also permissible. However, all the degrees need to have been obtained from a recognized University / Board. Passing in all the subjects of every semester is necessary.
TISSNET 2017 Exam Pattern
- TISS goes on for a total of 1 hour 40 minutes. The applicants will be judged on General Knowledge, Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning and English Proficiency. No negative markings are applied. There will be a single question paper asking 100 questions.
- After the TISS written test, the applicants will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion round and the Personal Interview round. The written test will be marked on 100, GD on 50 and PI on 75. The applicants will therefore be marked on 225 in total.

SNAP 2017 - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is an entrance examination for the MBA programs in the institutions affiliated to SIU. SNAP is conducted by Symbiosis International University. Registration for the SNAP Test is absolutely necessary for those who wish to pursue MBA at SIU. After this registration, s/he must register with the relevant institutions by fulfilling the corresponding registration fees. On being nominated, s/he would need to be present at the GE-PIWAT process led by the institutes.
The institutes that offer MBA courses are Symbiosis Law School (SLS-Pune), Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Symbiosis College of Nursing (SCON), Symbiosis School of Biomedical Sciences (SSBS), Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Pune (SIMC- Pune), Symbiosis School of Economics (SSE), Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) and Symbiosis Institute of Geo informatics (SIG). Symbiosis Society Foundation will bestow scholarships uponthe worthy students pursuing UG and PG courses from any SIU affiliated institute.

SNAP 2017 Application Form
- The applicants are required to register for SNAP at www.snaptest.org. The registration procedure is an online one. They need to upload their recent scanned photograph during the registration. This is to generate a unique SNAP ID for each applicant.
- The Registration Fee is INR 1500/-, which is a non-refundable fee. It is to be paid via different 'Payment Advice' formats. Please select the desired payment mode and print the corresponding 'Payment Advice' form. There are 2 online options – Credit Card and Net Banking. The 2 offline options are paying via cash and Demand Draft (in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat”, payable at Pune).
- For the Cash option, one needs to print 'Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan' from the abovementioned website. The cash has to be paid at any Axis Bank or Indian Bank branch. The applicants need to retain the Candidate copy of the Challan as the receipt.The stamped 'Symbiosis copy' has to be stamped and sent to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the address - SYMBIOSIS TEST SECRETARIAT Symbiosis International University Gram: Lavale, Tal: Mulshi, Dist:Pune- 412115.

SNAP 2017 Eligibility Criteria
- An SNAP applicant is required to be a Graduate from a recognized Board / University. The marks obtained must have been a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST applicants).
- Anapplicant who has accomplished his/her qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities. All the international degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU.
SNAP 2017 Exam Pattern
- The duration of SNAP is 2 hours. The questions are asked in form of MCQs, each having 4 options. For each incorrect answer, 25% marks are deducted.
- There will be 4 sections – General English (Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability), Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General Awareness (General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario) and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The first 3 sections ask 40 questions each and the 4th section asks 60 questions. Thus, there is a totality of 180 questions.
- Shortlisting for GE-PIWAT will be based on the applicants’ overall SNAP Percentile. GE-PIWAT stands for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test.
- Different weightage is given to the 4 stages of SNAP. 50% is given to the SNAP Score, 10% to GE, 30% to PI and 10% to WAT. The Merit List will be displayed on the website of the corresponding institutes.

NMAT 2017 (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test) is an entrance examination which is conducted every year by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai in order to grant aspiring applicants admission in programs like Full Time MBA, MBA (Banking), MBA (Capital Market), MBA (HR), & MBA (Pharmaceutical Management) at Mumbai campus and 2-year full-time PGDM at Bengaluru and Hyderabad campuses. NMAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
The following conditions need to be fulfilled by the applicants in order to be eligible for NMAT 2016 exam:
- Applicants for full time programs with two or more years of post-qualification experience will be preferred.
- Final year applicants can appear for the examination. They will be issued a provisional admission.
- The admission will be finalized only if the applicant will achieve a minimum 50% mark in first attempt and is able to provide all necessarily documents in original within the time frame provided.
- Applicant has to provide the semester wise mark sheets of all the years, as only consolidated mark sheets are not acceptable.
- Applicant with results declared in the form of SGPA/CGPA must produce the equivalent percentage in writing from the university.
