Government Medical College Nagpur was founded and initiated in 1947, by the then President of India - Dr. Rajendra Prasad. It is a well-known medical college in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This medical college is allied to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. The college has also been permitted by MCI (Medical Council of India, Delhi) as well as by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi.
