JEE Advanced 2015 Exam Dates | Paper Pattern | Syllabus
Joint Entrance Exam Advanced is commonly known as JEE Advanced 2015. JEE Advanced is the under-graduate national level exam. It is the second stage of Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the CBSE. The JEE exam is conducted for the engineering students seeking admission into IITs and ISM, Dhanbad. Candidates are selected on the basis of the category wise All India Merit Ranks based on the JEE Advanced 2014 scores. Candidates must be in the top 20 percentile (category wise) in their respective Boards/Qualifying Examinations to be considered for admissions. JEE Advanced will be jointly conducted by seven zonal IITs i.e. IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee. The JEE Advanced 2015 may held in the month of May.

JEE Advanced 2015 Eligibility
- Candidate must qualify in JEE Main 2014 and feature in top 1,50,000 candidates.
- It is necessary that candidate is born on or after 1 October 1989 (1984 for SC/ST/PwD) as per JEE Advanced 2014 Eligibility Criteria.
- Only two consecutive attempts are allowed provided that all the eligibility conditions are fulfilled.
- Candidate must have qualified class XII or equivalent exam with minimum percentage aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD)

JEE Advanced 2015 Paper Pattern
The JEE Advanced 2015 exam consist of Two Paper.
JEE Advanced 2014 Paper 1:
- Section 1 (Physics) - 10 MCQ with one correct option out of four.
- Section 2 (Chemistry) - 5 Multiple Choice Questions with one or more correct options out of four.
- Section 3 (Math) - 5 questions and the answer to each will be a single digit integer ranging from 0-9.
JEE Advanced 2014 Paper 2
- Section1 (Physics) - 8 MCQ with one or more correct option out of four.
- Section 2 (Chemistry) - Four paragraphs in theory, practical, data. There will be 8 questions in total with 2 questions per paragraph. Each question shall 4 options with one correct option.
- Section 3 (Math) - Matching List type questions where two lists are matched and options coded as A, B,C and D. Candidates have to choose the option according to the code
JEE Advanced 2015 Registration
- Candidates who want to write JEE (Advanced)-2014 should register online at: http://jeeadv.iitkgp.ac.in.
- After online registration, candidates must pay the examination fee as applicable through the challan generated during the registration process, in any branch of SBI having core banking solution (CBS) before 5 PM, May 10, 2014. The examination fee for GE and OBC male candidates is Rs.2000/-. The fee for SC, ST, PwD male candidates is Rs.1000/-.
- Candidates need to provides certificates:
- Year of First Attempt in JEE (Advanced) Choice of Examination City / Town (see note *)
- Choice of Language of Question Paper
- Entitlement of DS Category
- Requirement of Scribe (see note below**)
- Original passport size photograph in JPEG format (preferably from digital camera)
- Legible scanned signature as a JPEG file
- Soft copies of Date of Birth, Class-X and Category and Sub-Category (PwD) certificate.
*Note: List of the cities/ towns and their corresponding codes where the examination centres are located. Select three different cities/ towns from the same zone available in the scroll list. Preferences must be entered under CHOICE-I, CHOICE-II and CHOICE-III, respectively in the same IIT zone
**Note: Who needs a scribe: (i) A visually impaired candidate, not able to read the questions and give response on the ORS; (ii) if the candidate cannot darken the bubbles in the ORS himself / herself due to loss of fingers/ hands.
