ACTREC Recruitment 2014 - Advance Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer is also known as ACTREC. ACTREC was established in the year 2002 by Dr. R. Chindambaram Chairman of AEC and Secretary of DAE. ACTREC is basic and clinical research wing and a 50-bedded hospital. ACTREC will be carrying out a mission-oriented research and development in cancers prevalent in India and where there are competitive opportunities internationally ACTREC will use state-in-art technology in partnership with Tata Memorial Hospital. Pay Scale:-
Scientist:
The Candidate will be appointed on a contract basis of six months which can be extended further for six months and will be given a salary of 50,000 per month
Studentship in Bioinformatics:
The Candidate will be appointed on a contract basis for six months and will be given salary of 5,000 per month.
ACTREC Recruitment 2014 Qualification
Scientist:
Candidate should have Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics and Life Science with 1st class or similar Degree from any recognized university with experience of 4 years in research and Development in relevant subject or the candidate must have degree of Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Life Science from any recognized university.
Studentship in Bioinformatics:
Candidate should be pursuing PG degree in Bioinformatics.
Age Criteria
Candidate’s age should not be more than 45 years, However the age, qualification and experience is further relaxable in exceptional cases for experienced and qualified candidates.

In the format given below:
The Interview will be held on 10th July 2014. Registered candidates will have to report between 9:30- 10:00 am in (in Steno Pool), 3rd floor, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Candidate will not be allowed to give interview if they are reporting after 10:00 am.
