EAMCET 2015 Exam Dates | Application Form

EAMCET 2015 is commonly known as Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. The EAMCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam is conducted for the students seeking admission into under-graduate level professional courses offered by the University. The percentage of qualifying marks in the EAMCET is 25% (i.e. 40 out of 160). However no minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for the candidates belonging to SC and ST caste. Admission of the candidates will be based on the state-level rank prepared on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam. The EAMCET 2015-16 examination may be held in the month of May 2015.

• Candidates should be of Indian Nationality. Persons of India Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders are allowed provided they meet the specified criteria.
• Aspirants should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy the Local or Non-Local status – as per the requirements of the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions order, 1974.
• Applicants must have passed the Intermediate Exam or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as the main subjects along with the Bio-Technology or Chemistry or Biology as the optional subjects.

• Candidates should obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 (40% for the reserved category) to meet the Eligibility Criteria of EAMCET 2014.
• Applicants must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2014 to become eligible for this exam.
