PUTHAT 2015-2016 Exam Dates | Application form
PUTHAT 2015-2016 commonly known as Punjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test is an online exam conducted by Panjab University every year for the admission of students in B.Sc in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and B.Sc in Tourism and travel Management (BTTM). The application form will be available from 3rd March, 2015. The number seats available for BHMCT are 60 and for BTTM are 30. PUTHAT 2015 will be conducted on 3rd May, 2015 from 10.00 am to 11.30 am respectively.
Applicants are eligible for PUTHAT examination only if they satisfy following condition:
Step No. 1 - Go to www.puthat.puchd.ac.in/registration.php
Step No. 2 - The students are required to fill the personal, qualification and other necessary details as per the requirement in the application form.
Step No. 3 - After filling up of form submit it and note down your Login ID and Password.
Step No. 4 - Bank slip will be generated, take printout of that bank slip and deposit fee using website generated bank slip at any SBI branch, minimum one day after printing of bank slip.
Step No. 5 - Applicants are required to Login again after 24 hrs of depositing fee and upload their recent passport size photograph, signature and other details and save and confirm.
Step No. 6 - If more than 24 Hrs. have passed after printing the fee slip and your details are not found in bank for depositing fee, write to puthat@pu.ac.in mentioning your problem along with application number, name and date of birth.
Step No. 7 - Applicants who will avail the concession in fee under the category SC/ST OR P.U. Class B/C Regular Employee must send the copy of printout of their filled form along with the self attested copy of Category Performa/ Certificate for claiming 50% concession to P.U. Regular Employees ("B" and "C" Class) duly signed by Head/Chairperson, to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014 by registered post/speed post or by hand on or before April 24, 2015 up to 4:00 PM.
Application Fee:
The exams Consists of 100 multiple choice question of 1 mark each.
The duration of exam will be of 90 minutes.
The language of exams will be in English.
25% of marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

PUTHAT 2015-2016 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are eligible for PUTHAT examination only if they satisfy following condition:
- Applicants must have pass in Higher Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
- Applicants must have at least 50 % of aggregate marks scored in the examination and should have English as a compulsory subject.
- Applicants who have passed/appeared in 10+2 Examinations of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are ineligible to appear in PUTHAT-2015, as this institution has been derecognized by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
