IIMC Application Form 2015 | IIMC Entrance Test
Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC 2015-2016) conducts IIMC examination for the admission in various post graduate courses. IMC is an internationally known centre for training and research in Mass Communication, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Those applicants who are interested in can fill the application form from 10th March, 2015. The Institute has the largest specialized library in the field of mass communication in India with over 25,000 books. The Institute also enables its students to secure gainful employment in TV Channels, Newspapers and Media Houses, as well as Advertising and Public Relations Agencies through campus placements after completing their courses.
Applicants are eligible for IIMC 2015 Entrance Test only if they satisfy following condition:
For Online:
Step 1: Go to www.iimc.nic.in
Step 2: Applicants need to fill their personal, qualification and other details as mentioned in the form.
Step 3: Applicants are required to upload their passport size photograph in JPEG format of less than 50kb and signature of less than 20kb.
Step 4: After completion of form applicants need to pay the application fee through DD drawn in favor of Registrar, IIMC New Delhi.
Step 5: For any further detail regarding online registration applicants can visit official website.
For Offline:
Applicants can receive the application form through post or in person. Completed application forms with Demand Draft should reach Registrar, IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, and New Delhi-110067 on or before 08th May 2015.
Application fees:
There is no identical pattern for the written examination. However, applicants will be judged on the following parameters:
a) For Journalism Courses:
i) General Awareness: Including understanding of social dynamics; interest in social history; awareness of public debates on matters of polity and economy; awareness about international developments influencing power equations in the world and their impact on India.
ii) Aptitude & mental make-up
iii) Language capability
iv) Analytical & comprehension skills
b) For Advertising and Public Relations:
i) General Awareness

iii) Language capability

v) Brand awareness & recall and

IIMC Entrance Test 2015 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are eligible for IIMC 2015 Entrance Test only if they satisfy following condition:
- Applicants must be passed to Bachelor’s Degree in any stream or its equivalent examination from a recognized University.
- Applicants those who are appearing for the Graduate Degree are also eligible for the examination.
- Applicant must be born on or after 1/8/1990 for general category students.
- Applicant must be born on or after 1/8/1995 for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped students.
- Applicant must be born on or after 1/8/1987 for OBC category.
- Five seats are available for the NRI/ Foreign Candidates in the University.
