DAIICT 2016 is a technology-oriented university located in Gujarat, India. It is named after the entrepreneur and the Reliance group founder,Dhirubhai Ambani. It is run by the Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation and is promoted by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. DAIICT began its admission procedure in August 2001, with an intake of 240 undergraduate students for its B.Tech program in Information and Communication Technology. Thereafter, it has expanded and has become inclusive of postgraduate courses, such as M. Tech in ICT. The first batch of DA-IICT of postgraduates had passed out in 2004 and the first batch of graduates in 2005.
The selection of applicants is done on the basis of the JEE (Main) ranks. Seat reservations are available for Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals. Their admissions are conducted through a separate channel called the Direct Admission of Foreign and NRI Students (DAFS). The number of seats for B. Tech(ICT) is 240 and for B.Tech (Honours in ICT with minor in Computational Science) is 60.

DAIICT 2016 Application Form
- For B.Tech (ICT), the applicants are required to submit an DAIICT 2016 Online Application Form by clicking on: http://ugadmissions.daiict.ac.in/. Thereby, please click on “Apply”.
- Program preference is required to be filled primarily. It is followed by details regarding ones individuality and prior education. Click on “Submit” after filling the form is completed. Details like the soft copy of a passport sized photograph, credit / debit Card / Net Banking details, postal address and contact details (telephone / mobile numbers etc.) and JEE (Main) 2015 roll number needs to be inputted.
- The non-refundable fee is INR 1200/-. It can be paid via Debit / Credit card. The Net Banking facility is also available.
- For M.Tech (ICT), one must upload his/her GATE score card to participate in the online counselling for admissions. Please click on: http://admissionstatus.daiict.ac.in/. S/he needs to insert her/his DAIICT Application No. and Date of Birth. Identical instructions are applicable for this admission.

DAIICT 2016 Eligibility Criteria
The minimum academic qualification is that the applicant must have passed in the 10+2 Examination with the subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology. Applicants appearing in the 12th grade qualifying examination in the current year are also eligible to apply for provisional admission. All the applicants who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce a proof of having passed 10+2 Examination within the mentioned date. The upper age limit for the applicants is 25 years.- The admission to B.Tech. will be based on the All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination(Main) of that year. Therefore, only those applicants who have appeared for JEE Main can apply for DAIICT. The shortlisted applicants will be offered admission (confirmed/ waitlisted) in order of their merit (based on the All India Ranking of JEE Main).
- 50% of seats are reserved for applicants who have passed their 12th grades from Gujarat. These seats are filled in through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat.
DAIICT 2016 Exam Pattern
