Jaypee B.Tech Admissions 2016 - JAYPEE is a University Level entrance examination conducted by Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. There are three institutes of JIIT, at Noida, Wakanghat and Guna.The Engineering branches offered by JIIT Noida are Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, 5-year Dual Degree B.Tech-M.Tech in Biotechnology, 5-year Dual Degree (B.Tech and M.Tech) in CSE and 5-year Dual Degree (B.Tech and M.Tech) in ECE. The seats available for these branches are 240, 300, 60, 60, 30, 30 and 30 respectively.
JUIT, Wakanghat offers the branches Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. Information and Communication Technology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Civil Engineering, 5-year Dual Degree B.Tech-M.Techin Biotechnology, 5-year Dual Degree B.Tech-M.Techin CSE and 5-year Dual Degree B.Tech-M.Tech in ECE. The available seats are 160, 160, 30, 30, 30, 90, 16, 16 and 16each branch, respectively. JUET, Guna offers the branches Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. No Dual Degree courses are offered by JUET. The intakes for these branches are 160, 160, 120, 120 and 60 respectively.
The institutes of Jaypee will conduct no separate examination for JAYPEE. Admission through JAYPEE will happen on the basis of the All India Rank obtained by the applicants. The Merit List will be prepared based on the same. After the declaration of the Merit List, the Jaypeewill conduct its counselling sessions. Post counselling, the admissions will take place.

Jaypee B.Tech Admissions - Application Form
- The Jaypee B.Tech Admissions 2016 Application can be made both in the online and the offline mode.
- For the online mode of application, one needs to do the online registration with Jaypee on their official website. Please visit www.jiit.ac.in.
- The Application Form must be filled online and then submitted. The PDF format of the Form will be generated. This needs to be downloaded and printed. The printed Form has to be sent along with the Application Fees.
- The online fee for the application is INR 900/-. One can use the Debit / Credit Card or the Net Banking facility. Also, one may use a Demand Draft for the payment, which has to be drawn in favour of “JIIT Noida” and payable at Noida (in case of JIIT Noida). The Form and the DD must be enclosed in an envelope and addressed to The Registrar, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, A-10, Sector-62, Noida – 201307 (U.P), India (in case of JIIT Noida).
- On the envelope the mode of the online payment has to be mentioned. The words “Online Registration with Internet Banking” or “Online Registration with Demand Draft” have to be stated, as the case maybe.
- For the offline mode, the applicant has to visit the nearest Jaypee campus in person. Thereby, s/he may receive the Application Form (along with the brochure) on the payment of INR 1000/-. This payment can be made via a Demand Draft alone. The other option for the offline mode is that the Form can be received at the branches of the banks PNB and IDBI.

Jaypee B.Tech Admissions Eligibility Criteria
- The lower age limit of the applicants is 21 years.
- Since JAYPEE selects the applicants based on their JEE (Main) scores, the required eligibility of the applicants is them obtaining a rank via JEE (Main).
- The other basic eligibility is that the applicants must have passed their 12th grades with the subjects Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science. The 10+2 must have also been studied from a recognized Board / University.
