JKCET 2017 - Exam Dates, Application Form
JKCET 2017 (Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test) in an entrance examination which is conducted every year in order to grant aspiring applicants admission in diverse medical institutions and universities which provide MD/ MS/ MDS courses in private and government colleges and universities as well. JKCET 2017 is a state level examination.

JKCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this examination, applicants need to fulfill the following conditions:
- Applicants should be permanent residents of J&K State.
- Applicants should have passed HSC from a recognized statutory Board/University with at least 50% marks (for general category) and 40% (for reserved categories).
- Applicants should have passed 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

JKCET 2017 Syllabus & Paper Pattern
The syllabus for JKCET 2017 examination will be that of HSC level.
Paper Pattern:
- 2 papers each for PCB and PCM groups will be conducted- Paper A and B. Paper A will have Physics and Chemistry with 120 questions and Paper B will have Biology with 60 questions.
- Paper C will be of Mathematics with 60 questions.
- Objective type multiple choice questions will be asked in the paper.
- Negative marking is applicable for this examination. Each wrong answer will take away 0.25 marks.

- Applicants are required to pay a certain amount of fees along with the application in the form of e-challan.
- Applicants must note that the filled form must reach the necessary authorities on or before the due date, or else the form will not be accepted on any condition.
