Tripura JEE 2016 Application Form | Exam Dates | Pattern
Tripura JEE 2016 is conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. It is conducted at nine centres / venues of Agartala, Udaipur, Kailashahar and Dharmanagar. TJEE is for admission of students in Engineering, Medical, Technological and other professional degree courses against seats reserved for the state of Tripura and also the seats of different State Institutions. Every year TBJEE conducts JEE at the end of April for preparation of merit list to select applicants for admission into the different professional degree courses, for instance, Engineering, Medical, Dental, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fisheries and others.
The total number of seats along with the other criteria regarding eligibility is determined on the basis of the communication received by TBJEE from the corresponding sponsoring departments. The reservation of seats for SC / ST / PH / EX will be made as per the in-built provisions of the State Government of Tripura.

Tripura JEE 2016 Application Form
- The Tripura JEE 2016 Application Form can be found from the counter of the office of TBJEE (Old Secretariat Complex, Finance building, ground floor). The Application Fee is INR 80/-, payable by cash.
- It can be also obtained by a postal request from the office of the TRIPURA BOARD OF JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION by sending Postal Order of INR 80/- in favour of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, payable at Agartala Head Post Office. All postal requests must be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope of 30 cm x 13 cm size and a postage stamp of INR 5/- affixed on it.
- The Application Form and Prospectus can also be downloaded from their official website: www.tbjee.nic.in. The applicant must pay INR 80/- during the submission of the Application Form in addition to the necessary enrolment fees.
- All the applicants have to deposit their Examination fees through an E-Challan from any Branch of the State Bank of India.
- The categories UR, SC / ST, BPL UR and BPL SC / ST have to pay INR 350/-, INR 300/-, INR 250/- and INR 200/-, respectively.

Tripura JEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Permanent residents of Tripura are allowed to apply for Tripura JEE 2016. If the applicants’ parents are domicile residents of the state, that is also accepted for applying.- The applicants must have also cleared their 10+2 Examinations with the required marks and subjects. That Examination must have been passed from either Tripura Board or CBSE Board or any other Board recognised by the Tripura Board. The subjects should have been Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, since TJEE will ask questions on those subjects.

Tripura JEE 2016 Exam Pattern
- The four different subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, will have four different Question Papers. Full marks for each question paper will be 100 marks. The duration of the Examination of each paper will be 2 hours.
- 50 compulsory MCQs, taking 5 questions from each Module for each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, will be asked. Each question will carry 2 marks. Total marks for a question paper will be 100 (50 x 2) for each subject.
- Each question will have four options (i.e. A, B, C, D) out of which, the applicant has to select the correct option. No negative markings for incorrect answers are applicable.
