Uttarakhand B.Tech Admission 2016 - Registration Dates


Uttarakhand B.Tech Admission 2016 is a State Level Engineering Examination, which is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University. The Engineering courses offered are for the undergraduate level only. No separate examination will be conducted for Uttrakhand Admissions. The selection procedure will be based on the applicants’ JEE (Main) scores of that year and their 12th grade results.
Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, was established on 27th January, 2005, by the Government of Uttarakhand through the Uttarakhand Techncical Universiy Act 2005. The University is the only affiliating University of the state that is running various private and government institutions. There are 4 Constituent and 118 affiliated colleges with 50,000 students in various courses.
The University’s campus is situated at NH-72 Suddhowala, Dehradun. Dehradun is the State capital of Uttarakhand. It is well-connected through Rail, Road and Air transport. The University is serving technical education through its monitored semester, part time Ph.D programmes specially designed for the teachers and scientists by giving them opportunity to explore the untouched area of the research.

The Uttarakhand B.Tech Admission 2016 Application Fee can be processed in the offline mode alone. The charges are INR 1000/-. It must be paid via the SBI Bank Challan.

  • The applicants applying for Uttarakhand Engineering Admissions must have passed their 10+2 Examinations from any well-known Board. The subjects studied must have been Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and either Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Computer Science or Biology as the other compulsory subject. The applicants must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC applicants) in the subjects combined.

As mentioned above, there are no particular examinations for Uttrakhand Admissions. The applicants’ JEE (Main) score and 10+2 Examination will be taken into consideration.
