KIMS UG Medical 2017 - Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) conducts undergraduate Medical Examinations for admission into the M.B.B.S. course. The postgraduate course it holds is M.D. However in this article, the UG course alone will be discussed.KIMS offers the M.B.B.S. course at the UG level with ayearly admission of 100 students. A tall academic standard is upheld by a qualified andcommitted group of professors, clinicians and scientists. The team is involved in teaching, research and technological developments in health care.The courses are accepted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and the Medical Council of India. KIMS has 21 departments, which supply the study, management and inhibition of human diseases and maternity care.

Admission to the M.B.B.S. course will be conducted through Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE), an all-India Entrance examination held by KIIT University.

KIMS UG Medical 2017 Application Form

• As discussed, the admission for KIMS UG Medical will be processed through KIITTEE. Please visit the website www.kims.ac.in/academics/academicpro.html. There, click on “Apply Online”. After that, s/he will be asked to enter a number that is displayed on the screen. On submitting the text, one can avail himself/herself to the Application Form.
• The KIITEE Application Form has to be filled online. The application occurs over 3 months and so, the applicants have ample of time to apply for KIMS UG Medical.

• The filled-in Application Form has to be saved and printed out by the applicants. It needs to be sent to The Director, Admissions, KIIT University, Koel Campus, Bhubaneswar, Odisha– 751024.
• The Admit Card has to be downloaded whenever it will be available for downloading. Without producing the Admit Card, the applicant will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

KIMS UG Medical 2017 Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must be between 17 and 25 years of age to be eligible for application. The privileged applicants are allowed to apply up to 30 years.
• The applicants applying for KIMS UG MEDICAL need to have cleared their 10+2 Examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in the three subjects other than English.However, the SC / ST applicants are accepted with a minimum of 40% marks in the three subjects.

KIMS UG Medical 2017 Exam Pattern

• KIITEE will be conducted in the online mode. It will ask 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Every question is given four options to answer from. The applicant has to click on the circle s/he feels is the correct answer. S/he can go to any question simply by clicking on the question number that will be appearing at the bottom of the screen.
• Once a question is answered, the question number will turn green and the unanswered question number will remain blue. If the applicant is uncertain about any answer, s/he can mark that question for reviewing by clicking the ‘Mark for review button’. This will get unmarked once the answer is changed. If s/he wishes to change the answer of any question, it may be done by selecting the question and changing the answer by selecting the other option.
• Each correct answer is rewarded 4 marks and 1 mark is negated for every incorrect answer.
